Tips For Burning Incense Cones:
Always use a heat-safe burner on a heat-resistant surface. Ceramic, concrete, or metal is recommended. The lid of your incense tin may be used after removing the white freshness seal.
Add a small amount of sand or table salt to the burner/dish to increase airflow and allow the cone to burn all the way to the base. It also protects your burner from build-up and burn marks.
Light the tip of the incense and allow it to stay lit for 20 seconds. Blow out the flame with a long, gentle breath. The tip should glow red. If it doesn’t, re-light and repeat.
Always keep lit cones away from children, fans and window drafts. For freshness, keep unlit cones sealed until use.

These cones smell amazing! Unfortunately, mine do not like to burn down to the base and typically have to be relit several times, even if I get a good coal going initially. This absolutely may be user error, but I've tried in several of my other cone incense burners and have the same problem.
